General Information

openpilot upgrades your Tesla Model 3 (with HW2.5) with automated lane centering at all speeds, and adaptive cruise control that automatically resumes from a stop.

Important Notes

  • Model year 2019 can have HW2.5 or HW3, and model years 2023 and 2024 can have HW3 or HW4, depending on build date and factory. To check which hardware type your vehicle has, look for Autopilot computer under Software -> Additional Vehicle Information on your vehicle's touchscreen.
